Aus den Halsvenen gelangte das Blut über Gummischläuche in eine offene Schale, wo es mit Sauerstoff versetzt wurde, und von dort in eine Flasche etwas über dem Kopf des Hundes, aus deren unterem Ende es mit konstantem Druck in die Halsschlagadern zurückfloss. Eine elektrische Pumpe trieb diese primitive Herz-Lungen-Maschine an. Das Blut war zuvor chemisch behandelt worden, damit es nicht gerann.

Das im Video gezeigte Experiment ist anscheinend echt. Ich habe ein bisschen umhergeschaut und siehe da,auf der Online-Ausgabe der Süddeutschen Zeitung stehen die gleichen Informationen. Das hätte ich nicht für möglich gehalten und frage mich, was denn dann heute möglich ist (mit Hundeköpfen).
